Piece for peace
Iraqi embroidery artist Najlaa Khalil has been working on a patchwork hanging when Iraq was first invaded. Giving women a blank square of fabric, she asks them to contribute to the work with their own take on war and peace.
Patchwork squares will be available where ever the Piece for peace logo is displayed, alternatively you can request a square by email celebratingwomen@southwark.gov.uk or telephone 020 7525 3415.
