International Women’s Day 2009

The Women’s Art Show 2009 – Fairfields Art Centre

Fairfields has organised (and co-organised) exhibitions to celebrate International Women’s Day on the 8th of March since 1993, making it the longest running exhibition of work by women artists in this part of the region.

The work, which will be drawn from a national submission, promises to be a very diverse and exciting range of work by women artists, across a wide range of media.

We would like to formally dedicate this exhibition to the memory of the late Izita Kerr, who, as an artist, teacher and generous human being, did a tremendous amount to support artists, including many women artists, for many many years.
