To celebrate International Women’s Day, the University of Teesside invites you to Inspiring Potential, a lunchtime seminar on Friday 6 March.
International Women’s Day is the global day connecting all women around the world and inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
We are delighted to welcome two North East Women Entrepreneur award winners 2008.
Lilian Mains of Zodiac Training
Lilian Mains is the managing director and co-founder of Zodiac Training Limited established in 1996. Zodiac now employs in excess of 120 staff and specialises in workforce development, working with young people from 14 -19 in schools, apprenticeships in the workplace (all ages 16-65 plus) and NVQs (Train to Gain). Zodiac also works with unemployed people of all ages to help find them suitable employment.

DONNA Wilson owner of APC Logistics Teesside in Newton Aycliffe won the top prize in the hotly contested North-East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. She set up her business in 2001, which has been part of the APC Overnight network for its entire history. It now has a turnover of £2.5million and employs 37 people.
Lilian and Donna will share their individual experiences of reaching their personal potential through innovation and setting goals.
