TOGETHER WE WILL END MALE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
Million Women Rise is a coalition of individual women and representatives from the Women’s Voluntary and Community Sector who have come together to organise a national demonstration against male violence.

The first Million Women Rise demonstration in March 2008 saw 5000 women and children take to the streets of London to celebrate International Women’s Day and to show our united rage and opposition to male violence. It was the largest demonstration of women in UK history and the most diverse demonstration many of us had ever attended. Because male violence continues, so too does Million Women Rise and there will be another demonstration in 2009 – the date will be announced soon. Meanwhile on our new website, you can find information about other campaigns and events we support.

Together and united we will overcome male violence.
