Yesterday I was in London and Regent’s Street suddenly went quiet – wonderful – no cars and quiet – folk started walking down the middle of the road – people seemed to visibly relax and smile more or was that just me? Women continue to experience violence in their everyday lives; In our homes, on our streets, on our public transport, at our places of work.
